Our Process

How It Works

Having a personal idea for your future tattoo is already a great start. Prepare a sketch or describe what you would like your tattoo to look like, including the preferred style.

You can also send reference images or photos of existing tattoos that show the style, composition, or details you like. Please be sure to include the desired placement on your body and the approximate size.

Providing this information in advance will make the consultation and design process faster, clearer, and easier for everyone.

1. Free Consultation

Free consultation to discuss your tattoo idea, style, placement, size, and the next steps.

2. Book An Appointment

Choose a suitable date and time for your tattoo session. A deposit is required to reserve and confirm your appointment.

3. Get Your Tattoo

When you arrive at the studio, your design will be prepared and ready for the session. All you need to do is get comfortable, relax, and enjoy the process of bringing your new tattoo to life. For longer sessions, it is a good idea to bring a drink and a light snack with you. Coffee, tea, and a few treats are usually available at the studio as well.

4. Tattoo Appointment Cancellation or Rescheduling

Please notify me of any cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

When sufficient notice is provided, your deposit will remain valid and can be transferred to a new appointment date.

If a client does not attend the appointment and fails to notify me in advance, the deposit will be forfeited and is non-refundable.

In the event of a sudden illness, a medical certificate or another reasonable form of confirmation may be requested.

If you forget your appointment, feel unwell after consuming alcohol, or cannot attend for another reason, please contact me honestly and as early as possible. Every tattoo session is carefully scheduled in advance, and a cancelled time slot cannot always be filled at short notice. Thank you for respecting your artist’s time and treating your booking responsibly.

What I Do

Design Development

I create unique tattoo designs in Tampere based on your ideas, preferred style, placement, and body shape. During the consultation, we discuss the concept, size, composition, details, and overall appearance of the tattoo.

I carefully adapt each design to the natural lines of your body. Before the session, we review the design together and adjust the size, placement, contrast, or individual elements if needed.

I specialize in custom black and grey tattoos, graphic realism, roses, skulls, deep shadows, and strong contrasts.

Tattoo Session

Once you approve the design, we begin the tattooing process at my tattoo studio in Tampere. I carefully prepare and disinfect the workspace according to strict hygiene and safety standards. I use sterile, single-use needles and properly protected equipment during every session.

Before starting, we check the final size and placement together. I apply the stencil, make sure the design fits your body naturally, and adjust the position if needed.

A standard tattoo session lasts approximately 4.5 hours, depending on the size, placement, complexity, and level of detail. We can take short breaks when necessary to keep the session comfortable. Larger and more detailed tattoo projects in Tampere may require several sessions to achieve the best possible result.

Tattoo Healing and Aftercare

After the tattoo session at my studio in Tampere, I carefully clean the tattooed area with antiseptic soap to remove excess ink, plasma, and residue while keeping the skin clean and protected.

To support healing, you may use a specially formulated tattoo aftercare cream enriched with vitamins or a suitable product containing dexpanthenol, such as Bepanthen. Apply only a thin layer and follow the recommended routine.

Proper tattoo healing requires patience and careful attention. The artist’s work represents about 50% of the final result, while the remaining 50% depends on responsible aftercare.

Avoid scratching, rubbing, swimming, sauna, intense exercise, and direct sunlight while the tattoo heals. Following the instructions carefully helps protect the tattoo and preserve its details, contrast, and overall quality.
